Jaevin's Newborn Portraits

Thanks to Jaevin's parents for sharing him with us for his newborn portrait session. So cute! Doesn't he look like a little doll? He was an awesome model, humoring us with just about everything we wanted to do. We can't wait to see him again in a few months for the next installment of his first year series....

Newborn Family Portraits

In the process of updating the blog with current sessions, I came across this family session I have been intending to post for some time. I thought I'd add it in the mix here since it is such a great example of a newborn family session. A lot of our newborn session subjects happen to be first children, probably because it is such a major life change to become parents the first time! It is important to remember to capture the first weeks or months of every member of the family, since every new little person changes things in a family so much! I know this family will enjoy these images for years to come.....

Issac's 100 Days Portrait

Congratulations to Isaac's family! He is a very sweet baby and we were happy to have the opportunity to photograph him for his 100 days celebration! Thanks for letting us be a part of his first year! We'll see you again in a few months!

Beautiful Boy - Newborn Portraits

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Wyatt's newborn portrait session. This beautiful family made my job as photographer really easy! This classic black and white style is one of my personal favorites, and I had such perfect models! What I love most about photographing people is portraying the truth at the heart of a person, relationship, or a story in a beautiful way. The love this couple has for each other and their child really show in these images. I am thankful to them for being so true for me! As for Wyatt, well.....as you'll see in the last image, he really made the session complete by letting me capture the truth about what life with a newborn is really like!
